⭐︎Resolution⭐︎

今年もどんどん進みます⭐︎

2018年はどんな年にしたいかなぁ、と
目標もだんだん具体的になってきています^^

まず、毎年言ってるような気もしますが^^；
"ヨガは毎朝うちでやる"
というのはぜひ徹底したいと思います。

今はスタジオに行かなくなっているので、
うちで日々の習慣にします！

通訳の仕事は変わらずせっせと頑張りますが
大学や本など、他にもある頑張りたいことにも
時間や労力を使えるよう、工夫して
生産性を上げていけるようにしたいです⭐︎

あとはひとつひとつの出会いを大切に。。。
人でも仕事でもなんでもです^^

そして何より健康第一で
あんまり考えすぎたり心配しすぎたりしないで
前を向いていきます♩

とても美しい1日の始まり⭐︎

今日も元気に頑張ります^^! 

⭐︎Happy New Year⭐︎

新しい一年が始まりました⭐︎
大きなスーパームーンを見ながら^^

The new year has started! 
A huge supermoon was so beautiful in the sky.

思い返せばいろいろあった去年は、
手術から始まり
長年勤めた会社を辞めて
フリーランスとして活動を開始することができました。

Looking back the last year, 
it started with a surgery, resignation from the company,
and commencement of activities as a  freelancer⭐︎

フリーランスの仕事がどんなものかだんだんわかってきて、
新しい出会いもありました。

I gained more understanding of a life of a freelancer 
and I met great new people too. 

本を書いたり
ラジオに出たり。。。と
初めてのことに恵まれた一年でした。

I had very valuable opportunities to write a book,
took part in a radio program, etc, etc...

今年はどうかな〜・・・⭐︎

Wonder what will happen this year.. ^^!

今年は、私が何よりも大切にしている"自由”を
もっと自分らしく操ることができるよう
創意工夫もしながら、努力を重ねていきたいと思っています！


This year, I really want to cherish "freedom" that I care most in my life 
so I should think "out-of-box" and work hard every day...!

⭐︎Departure⭐︎

あっという間に年末です。

長年お世話になってきました
ネイリストさんが今のサロンを辞められて
新たな土地でスタートされることになりました。

The manicurist who has treated my nails for years 
decided to make a move to start her career in a new place. 

私の好みを完璧にわかってくださり、私のめんどくさい
注文にも応えてくださった方ですので(^^;)
残念です><

I will miss her a lot as she perfectly understands my  taste
and satisfies all my requests! 

でも、特にお別れ、とは考えず
違う場所で活動を続けられるんだ、と思うと
寂しさもあまり感じません。

But I would rather not think this is a good-bye 
but she will just continue to build her career in a different place. 

今後も間違いなく活躍されるのでしょうし
またお世話になることがあるはず。。。！と思うと
楽しみです⭐︎

I am certain that she will continue to be very successful,
and I can look forward to a day when she can do my nails again.

それまでお互い語れるストーリーを作り続けられるように
頑張っていければいいなぁ〜と思いました⭐︎

And I hope we both keep working hard so that we can add more 
stories to tell each other in the future :-) 

これまで本当にいろんなデザインやってくださいました^^ 

⭐︎December⭐︎

12月ももう半ばです！

Can't believe it's already in the middle of December ...! 


誕生日やクリスマスや年末。。。いろいろあるので
少し特別な感じがする月のはずですが、仕事に追われて
そんな気分にもなれないまま今になってしまいました。

December should be special for me because of my birthday,
Christmas and year-end.... but I even almost forgot my birthday 
for so much work....

ブログもすっかりご無沙汰してしまいました><

Couldn't update my blog for long as well... 

振り返ると、いろんな仕事に恵まれましたが、
多いな〜と思うのが、デジタルトランスフォーメーション系のトピックです⭐︎

Looking back, I have been so fortunate to do many different job assignments
but specially recently I hear lot about "digital transformation".

まったくよくわかりませんが、デジタルな世の中になるんだなーと
自然に感じそうになるほどです。

I cannot really follow this but having heard so much about this topic,
I naturally start to feel that we will be living in a digital world..! 

そして"クリエイティビティ"ということも考えさせられる
仕事もありました。

And some others made me think about "creativity" too.

私のやりたいこととかできること、についても
奇想天外みたいな観点で、考えてみようかなぁ。。。と
思う今日この頃です^^

I should also think about what I can/want to do with 
"out-of-box" ideas...⭐︎

クリスマス仕様のスカイツリーです！

通訳の仕事を通して、とても重要なことを知りました。

Through my interpreting assignment, 
I recently learned about an origination called WTO,
which is not the Word Trade Organization, but 
World Toilet Organization!

WTO 

Word Trade Organization（世界貿易機関）

じゃなくて

Word Toilet Organization（世界トイレ機関）

という機関があるというのです！

創設者Jack Simさんが、世界でトイレが無い生活を強いられている人が
ものすごくたくさんいるという事態をなんとかしようと
立ち上げた組織です。

The founder Mr. Jack Sim started up this organization with desire to 
solve serious problems around insufficient decent toilet and inappropriate 
hygienic environment in the world.  


日本は超ハイテクトイレが当たり前になっているのに
世界中で不衛生な生活をして苦労している人たちがたくさんいるだなんて
辛い現実です。

It is harsh fact that so many people are having such hard times in unsanitary 
environment while high-tech toilets are available everywhere in Japan.


まずは私も含めてこういうショッキングな現実があるんだということを
学んで、皆でできることをしていこう！と思いました。

I have determined that first we all need to know about this shocking fact and 
start trying to do something that we can do for the world. 

11月19日は「世界トイレの日」だそうです⭐︎

FYI, November 19th is the World Toilet Day.

¡Trabajé como interprete de español! ¡Qué contenta estoy!

嬉しい！！

しかも、バルセロナ・カタルーニャ観光ワークショップ

という最高に嬉しいイベントです♡

Además fue un evento super interesante,
Barcelona y Cataluña turismo workshop.

現地からホテルやお店、観光客に人気の場所の担当者が
沢山来て、説明していました。

Los expertos españoles vinieron para explicar sobre hoteles, marcas o 
destinación para turismo. 

私はガウディのCasa Batllóの担当者の通訳をさせていただきました⭐︎

¡Interpreté una mujer que trabaja por Casa Batlló!

ニュースでいろいろ聞いて心配してましたが、
大変楽しく素晴らしい経験でした。

Estaba preocupada sobre el país de la noticia 
pero, el evento fue muy divertido y una experiencia maravillosa para mi.

またカタルーニャに行きたくなりました！

Ah ahora quiero volver a Cataluña mucho...!

⭐︎A Day in Autumn⭐︎

毎日すごいスピードで過ぎていく感じです！

Time flies...! Days are passing by so fast! 

フリーランスの通訳者として活動を開始してから
初めての”繁忙期”を経験していると思っていますが、ほんとにすごく忙しくなるんだなぁ！と実感しています。

I am experiencing a peak season as a freelance interpreter for the first time...! 

ちょっと油断していると、来週の準備ができてない！とか
明後日の仕事の情報を確認できてなかった！とか
焦る要素が大量です。。。><

So easy to get panicked to realize there are tons of things that I have to do
for coming schedules... 

でも、それよりも何よりも、まずは今のことに集中しなくちゃ！と
思い直します。

But I try to quickly reset myself and remind me of having to concentrate on "now". 


今の瞬間を一生懸命。

そして、それを次につなげていこう、と思います⭐︎

Just focus on what I am doing right now.

I believe that it should lead me to the next steps...^^ 

秋を感じます。
