久々に、正統派なスペイン料理やさんに行きました～＾＾♪！

It was quite a while since I went to an authentic Spanish restaurant last time...!

東京にもオープンしたんだんって！

Cervecería is originated in Akita prefecture,

and the chef decided to open another one in Akasaka, Tokyo♪

The damage by the storm Sandy has been severer in New York.
In such a big city, blackout has continued for days, the subway has stopped its operation
and long queue in front of gas station.

En la ciudad tan grande, apagón ha seguido por días, metro ha parado su operación
y la gente hace cola larga para gasolina.


3.11の状況が、蘇りました。

All reminded me of the devastated city by 3.11. 
Todo me recordó la ciudad devastada por 3.11

違うのは、地震が東京みたいな大都市で起こらなかったこと。

東京で起こっていたら、今のニューヨークみたいな感じだったのかな(>_<)。

もっとずっとひどかったかも。

The difference was that the earthquake did not occur in a metropolitan city like Tokyo.
If it had happened in Tokyo, the situation might have been like that in New York..
Or it could have been much worse.
La diferencía era lo que el terremoto no ocurrió en la ciudad grande como Tokio.
Si hubiera ocurrido el terremoto en Tokio, la situación hubiera sido como lo de Nueva York..
O, hubiera podido ser más grave...

Thinking about the precious friends there makes me feel even more painful.

After all, anywhere and in any era you live,
things that you can never control could happen to you.
The same thing could happen to me anytime.

またつい忘れそうになっちゃうけど、

今の瞬間、沢山のことに恵まれてる今。

当然のこと、だなんて思わないで、

ちゃんと感謝して、味わって、生きていきたいです☺。


After all, being able to use electricity, to drink water and use the Internet,
is just amazing, isn't it.
We tend to forget it so easily, but we are blessed with so many things right now.
Should not see it as something normal,
but we should truly appreciate it, and get the most out of it every day☆

Nos olvide eso muy facilmente, pero tenemos surte en el ambiente actual.

mentioned that without his right-hand researcher Takahashi, he could not have come this far.

Despite of repetitive failures,
he never gave up and just kept it going.

Then again, he just made tremendous efforts only for the success.
He never stopped and just kept making efforts, then probably naturally
it led them to the Nobel prize...

稻作業は、何キロも歩いたり、何十キロもの米を運んだり、

本当に重労働(>_<)．

家族、親戚、友人、近所の人、皆がそれぞれ助け合って作業します。


Rice farming is such a hard work requiring them to walk dozens of kilometers and carry rice bags of dozens of kilograms.
Not only the family, but relatives, friends, neighbors, and everyone help each other for the work.

El trabajo del cultivo del arroz es muy duro requiriendo que caminar docenas de kilómetro de camino y llevar las bolsas de arroz de docenas de kilogramo.

でも、ハニ族の人たちは、これまでずーーっと現在まで、

1,000年以上も引き継がれた棚田と伝統に、

心から感謝しているんだって。

However, Hani people truly appreciate the rice terraces and the tradition that have been succeeded for over 1,000years to today.

自分たちの祖先が、ずーーっと絶やさず、続けてくれたことを、

だからこそ、今でも美味しいお米を収穫できることを、本当にありがたいって

だから、苦しくて、イヤだなんて、思わないんだって。


They are sincerely grateful that their ancestor never put an end to the tradition, so that they can receive benefit of rice crops today.

So, they never feel that they are having a hard time nor don't want to work.

Entonces, nunca sienten que están sufuriendose por el trabajo duro, ni tampoco desean dejar trabajar.

Their view reminded me that this is how we should accept our current life.

”恵み”　っていう意味があるんだって。

I learned that the Portuguese word "presente" means "blessing" in addition to "present".

”現在”は、今は、あらゆることの恵みなんだ、ということを忘れないで

生きていきたいです＾＾☆

Every day I should not forget that "today" is collection of all sorts of blessing☆
