⭐︎AI Interpreter⭐︎

最近新聞にも大きく出てました！
AIのおかげで可能になってきた通訳端末。

A big article about AI interpreting terminal! 

かなり精度が高いものになっているのだと思います。

I am certain that such machine is highly advanced, and 
this trend makes me think about occupation of interpreters. 

通訳っていう仕事について考えさせられます⭐︎

当然、通訳者がいなくて良い世界が理想的。
誰だって自分の言葉で伝えるのが一番いいって思うと思います^^

Obviously, the world with no need of interpreters would be ideal.
Anyone would want to communicate by themselves. 

でもそれが無理な時、機械で便利に代替できるのであれば
それが良いのだと思います。

But when it is not possible, machine translator could conveniently 
work for us :-) 

一方、やっぱりそれじゃ心配だな、とか複雑な話の時とかに
人間の通訳者に頼ってもらうという棲み分けになるのでしょうか。。。⭐︎

At the same time, human interpreters may be used for different occasions,
when users are still concerned about using machines or when they talk about 
something complicated... 

日本人は特にそうかもしれませんが、すごく微妙な言い方したり、
含みをもたせたり、曖昧だったり。。。そういうこともAIがわかるようになったら
ほんとにすごいですし、ちょっと怖くも感じます><

As Japanese people typically do, people may talk very ambiguously,
may imply something or conversations could be vague... 
I would be amazed and also be scared if AI can understand all these subtleties! 

とりあえず、当面はまだAIじゃできなさそうなところを
達成しつづけられるように頑張ることとして（^^;）
あとは、やっぱり機械じゃなくて、なんとなく近くにいて欲しいな、と
思ってもらえるような、人間らしい通訳できるように心がけたいです^^⭐︎

Well for the time being, I would work hard to achieve a certain level 
which AI may not able to do yet (!), and then, also try to be a 
"human" interpreter who is rather desired to be present:-)!
